Hi I'm Kayla and I'm So Glad You're Here!

I'm a Registered Nurse with a passion for serving children and families in Central America.

Over the past several years, I've had the privilege of volunteering alongside organizations providing pediatric medical care, clean water initiatives, and community outreach throughout El Salvador. Through these experiences, God has continually expanded my understanding of what it means to care for people holistically - addressing both physical and spiritual needs.

Most of my nursing career has been spent caring for children, whether in pediatrics, the NICU, or alongside children with complex medical needs at home. Many of these children benefit from therapies, adaptive equipment, specialized medical care, and strong support systems that help them reach their full potential.

As I began serving in Central America, I met children facing many of the same challenges but with far fewer resources available to them. I met families doing everything they could to care for their children while navigating significant barriers to therapy services, adaptive equipment, healthcare access, and ongoing support.

Those relationships changed me.

What began as volunteering through medical clinics and community health projects grew into a calling to walk alongside these families in a more intentional way.

Today, my work focuses on supporting children with disabilities and their families through developmental resources, caregiver education, community partnerships, clean water initiatives, and practical solutions that help improve quality of life.

I believe meaningful change begins by listening. Every family and community has unique strengths, challenges, and needs. Rather than arriving with all the answers, my goal is to learn from the people I serve, build relationships, and work alongside local leaders and organizations already making a difference.

Most importantly, I want every child and every family I encounter to know they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether through prayer, encouragement, volunteering, or financial support, your partnership helps make this work possible.
